JOB OVERVIEW
The Junior Business Analyst formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on customer’s needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary point of contact for reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, justification drafts, and performance measures in preparation for the Intelligence Program Budget Submission (IPBS) and Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB).

Collaborate and coordinate with components across the FBI enterprise to produce corporate responses to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and other Intelligence Community (IC) partners.

Analyze FBI component submissions to ensure it is coordinated with previously submitted requests to the Department of Justice (DOJ), ODNI, and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).

Assist the Formulation Team Lead in creating material to use in outreach sessions to all FBI NIP-funded components regarding NIP/Intelligence Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Evaluation (IPPBE) processes, upcoming data calls, expectations, and lessons learned.

Guide the FBI NIP-funded partners on ODNI data calls.

Manage general inbox with declassification requests, maintain tracker of all taskings assigned to the divisions, and continuously follow up to obtain prompt responses.

Enter requests for information in the FBI’s TMS system, track the status of taskings, and work with IT to troubleshoot TMS system issues.

Edit templates, guidelines, and update processes for ODNI taskings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Peer training of Junior Business Analyst responsibilities (if applicable).
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a Top Secret Security Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Eligibility.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least two (2) years of business analyst experience. A minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience that is in or directly related to the line of work of the position applied for may be substituted for education.

Must have two (2) years or more experience comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents.

Must have the ability to present information and respond effectively to sensitive issues.

Must have the ability to solve problems involving various types of situations.
