Concord Crossroads is seeking qualified Personnel Recovery Coordinators to support USSOUTHCOM personnel recovery (PR) services throughout the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility (AOR) to enable PR capabilities on the behalf of CDR USSOUTHCOM. Personnel Recovery Coordinators shall be qualified to provide USSOUTHCOM Personnel Recovery methodologies to assist DoD to prevent, prepare for, and respond to Personnel Recovery incidents in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean 


  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of coordinating Personnel Recovery within a Personnel Recovery Coordination Cell or Joint Personnel Recovery Center 

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating Personnel Recovery preparation, planning and execution services within the U.S. Code Title 22 ( Chief of Mission) environment 

  • Completed Serve Level C training that included Peacetime Government Detention and Hostage  Detention Resistance Training Labs IAW Joint Personnel Recovery Agency training standards 

  • Have basic knowledge of Non-Conventional Assisted Recovery (NAR) and the application of Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTP) for isolated persons IAW Joint Publication 3-50 and SERE Training Instructor Reference Products 

  • Experience and or/ be able to qualify on the Government-issued pistol (9mm), commensurate to the level or training provided to DoD Civilian employees

Candidates shall have completed the following courses or be able to complete all courses within 90 days after employment. Identify and provide proof of completion of any of these courses

  • Personnel Recovery 106 : Reintegration Team Responsibilities 

  • Personnel Recovery 300 : Personnel Recovery Execution

  • Personnel Recovery 350: Personnel Recovery Planning (previously 301)

  • Specialized Escape Training SERE 250J or SERE 350

  • Joint Urban Evasion Training Instructor Course SERE 271

  • PR 303: Non- Conventional Assisted Recovery Plans and Operations
