The Program Manager- Personnel Security Support (PMPSS) manages and oversees the administrative and daily operations of the program. The PMPSS serves as an overall lead on the BPA and as the principle liaison between the Government and contractor. The PMPSS serves as a consolidated point of contact that facilitates effective communication and pro-activity identifies and mitigates issues within the Contractor's team and between the Contractor and the various Government customers.  

job responsibilities 

  • Attends regular and frequent meetings with Government customer to discuss and brief on workload, contract performance, and emergent issues 

  • Assures quality control implementation 

  • Produces required contractual and programmatic reports and briefs

  • Exercise quality control measures over contractor staff to deliver services and products on budget and schedule based upon established per BPA and SOW requirements

  • Provides for overall contract project personnel, delivery of reports, and contract deliverable

  • Implements short and long-term work plan to ensure work performance 

  • Formulates and enforces work standards

  • Coordinates with Government customer for assignment of work schedules

  • Reviews work discrepancies 

  • Supervises contractor personnel, communicates policies, and organizational goals 

  • Manages  contract performance 

  • Provides tracking for all incoming Contractor personnel and weekly report to Government customer of status and processing issues 

job requirements

  • Must possess a current Top Secret (TS) security clearance and must be capable of obtaining Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access that includes a requirement to pass a CI security polygraph exam

  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in any field of study is preferred 

  • Must possess eight (8) years in a specialty related to personnel security being managed, which includes scheduling and supervising project personnel 

  • Must have ten(10) plus years of Federal Law Enforcement experience or fifteen (15) or fifteen (15) years of experience managing tasks and supervising people to include experience in human resources and personnel security 

  • Must posses at least five (5) years of experience over the past ten (10) years or two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years directly related to managing or performing security responsibilities 

  • Must have knowledge of Security Division (SecD) discipline, project management, and demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and projects
