The Contractor shall provide executive-level staff support to the Intelligence Branch and various Government programs by providing quantifiable measures to  decision markers by way of collecting, analyzing, and visualizing operational and performance data sets that drives innovation, leadership, and corporate efficiency to advance the Government agency's objectives. The Contractor shall perform a variety of operational functions and administrative responsibilities in support of the unit mission. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks, but is not limited to :

  • Obtain critical information from datasets in support of intelligence productions, operations, and performance while collaborating with counterparts, customers, data stewards, project/ program managers, and other technical teams

  • Provide technical support extracting data from multiple databases/ sources; and preparing corresponding reports

  • Prepare detailed stakeholder needs analysis and database reporting requirements documentation to support data integration, collection, and tracking requirements from various Government systems and collection platforms

  • Provide business processing engineering advice and assistance with the development of tools to optimize metrics reporting and visualization processes improvement initiatives 

  • Coordinate with a variety of audiences to conduct extensive research/ management studies that include preparing and administering studies, tasks analysis and / or statistical analysis 

  • Respond to requests/ inquiries and/ or develop reports and models for external and internal entities

  • Identify, collect, analyze, and validate for accuracy, relevancy, and completeness Government program datta metrics. Integrate and prepare large, varied datasets for analysis

  • Compile, prepare, presents, and defend recommendations, findings, briefings, narrative summaries and quantitative analysis in complex written reports and documents

  • Perform business process analysis, requirements analysis, business process engineering, communications, and/ or training support within the federal Government, defense, and/ or law enforcement community

  • Top Secret Security Clearance from a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access approval eligibility 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as English Literature, Mass Communications, Writing, Journalism, History, or Liberal Arts. A minimum of three years of specialized experience that is in or directly related to the line of work of the position applied may be substituted for education

  • Minimum of three years specialized experience with researching policies and writing policy summaries 

  • Minimum of three years drafting and editing reports and policy papers 

  • Interpreting themes and conflicting points of view in expository narratives and policies 

  • Determining independently whether submissions conform to the current organizational guidelines and whether the information provides full accurate, and balanced coverage of the topic, evaluating content, format, and style

  • Gathering, developing, and checking for accuracy of information by research and by interviews with subject matter experts, program officials and, in some cases policy makers

  • Writing features news articles and editing speeches, talking points, congressional testimony, and other written materials to support executives and leadership teams

  • Developing and implementing communication plans to support branch initiatives

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and research skills

  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking

  • Ability to work independently with a team
