FBI APSS Project Manager 
(Manager|Senior)

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Location : Washington, D.C.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads team on large projects or significant segments of large complex projects.

  • Facilities the strategic management process and provides consulting expertise and project management for specific initiatives that are deemed high risk or critical to cuess of the Unit/Section.

  • Provides application systems analysis and programming activities for multiple Government sites and/ or facilities.

  • Oversees all aspects of projects, including the preparation of long and short-range plans for necessary support resources.

  • Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.

  • Demonstrates abilities to identify complex projects risks, leads constructability reviews, develops  risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implements action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

  • Implements change management  routines to assess change requests, makes recommendations, and secures customer approvals. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR Project Manager and Project Senior Manager

The Project Manager shall have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college. Educational requirements may be waived if the candidate has ten (10) years or more of project management experience.

  • Five (5) years or more of project management experience. 

  • Five (5) years or more of managing all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk) for various types of projects.

  • Five (5) years or more of experience providing written and oral reports to management, customers, and stakeholders regarding process of projects.

The Project Senior Manager shall have following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.

  • At least ten (10) years of complex project management experience in Government programs, projects and/ or activities. Educational requirement may be waived if the candidate has fifteen (15) years or more of experience.

  • Ten (10) years or more of experience managing all facets of project management (budget,schedule, procurement, quality, and risk) for various types of projects.

  • Ability to resolve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.

  • Eight (8) years or more experience providing written and oral reports to management, customers, and stakeholders regarding progress of projects.
